Ok Chrissy...I hope all of this makes sense...Of course I'll go through it with a webcam or on the phone but I wanted you to see what the products actually look like.

These are all of the things I use daily...before putting on my make-up I wash my face and moisturize it.



Next:




I put on my concealer


Then I put on my foundation with a make-up sponge:




Then I put on my powder *tip...after you tapped your powder brush in your powder, tap the brush in the palm of your hand so that all of the powder sitting on top of the brush will sink into the brush.




Next I style my eyebrows. I use an eyebrow pencil to fill in my eyebrows...this is the one I use:
Also, when buying a pencil, it needs to be a shade lighter than the color of your eye brows, that way it looks more natural. I'll teach you the technique on how to put it on, it's super easy.




Next I use my highlighter: as you see in this picture you put it in three different spots: your tear duct, under you eyebrows, and on the side of your eyes:





Next comes the eye shadow. I've taken a picture of a three different kinds of the many that I use. There's the two baked powders that work awesome! They're around $10 each, but they literally last me like 6 months, so they're well worth the money. I also took a picture of another set I just bought and I using some of those colors I'm going to teach you a new thing I just learned...it's beautiful.

Then I put on my eye liner...this is something I've really had to work on, because the closer you get the eye liner to your eyelid the better it looks but it is kinda tricky. Here's the kind of eye line I use. It goes on smoother than the pencil ones and it's a good one for getting close to your lash line. I would recommend you always have a black and a dark brown on hand. This is the kind that rolls up, so you don't have to sharpen it.





Then next is my eye lashes....the professionals say to ALWAYS use an eye lash curler before applying the mascara...




Ok Chrissy, this is the Mascara that I use, and I totally love it. It is seriously the best mascara that I've ever used. Besides making my eye lashes super long, it never get's clumpy, and that's the only mascara that I've used that has never got clumpy!




Next I put my blush on...on the apples of your cheeks. All you have to do is smile big and you'll see the apples of your cheeks. Also, use the same tip you used with your powder at the beginning. You don't want too much powder on your cheeks, it'll be too rosey!


Here are some brushes I use. The big one is for the powder, and the smaller is for my blush. These aren't expensive brushes by any means, I think they came in a set that I bought from Wal-Mart



So once you have your blush on then put your lipstick on. I know that you don't like anything flashy and that's ok. Just go to wal-mart and buy some stuff that's more glossy but has a tint of color to it, like a peach color or pink something that's close to your lips so it's not so dramatic.


How to know the colors for Concealer, foundation and powder...

Concealer: Hold up the concealer at the store and it should be just barely lighter than your skin
Foundation: it should be just a tad darker than your natural skin tone, just barely. You want it to look natural, so too dark will make you have a make-up line.
Powder, should match your natural skin tone, so that it makes your skin have a smooth finish.
The color suggested to buy for a highlighter shadow is: a shimmer champagne color-don't stress about worrying what kind of highlighter to use. I usually just use a regular single eye shadow that has a champagne color and it kinda shimmers. Just use your judgement.
For your blush color-buy something soft rose, or berries, bronzes. Those colors will make your cheek's pop
For your lips, I suggest you use a plum color...that'll look great!
For your eyes: I would suggest you buying the color pallets that I uploaded. I always have the black, and brown baked colors on hand. For the one I'm going to teach you, you'll also need the other color pallet that I uploaded on here too. It has four colors: a dark plum color, a golden color, white and a soft green.


So that's it. Like I said I'll go over the stuff and how to apply it and stuff to make things easier when we can actually talk and stuff but this should give you a heads start:) If you have any questions just let me know.

This was actually pretty funny. Sister Roake and I wanted to have some fun. So while at a Zone Activity, we snuck to where one of the Elders cowboy hats were and took some pictures with them. The funny thing about this is, is that we wanted to take pictures of ourselves with this Elders camera. We thought we were sooooo funny, but when we found out that the camera that we used wasn't that Elders and it was someone else's...we felt pretty stupid!

Sister Roake and I-today was a great day...for the most part. It was July 31st...my one year mark out on my Mission, and it was also Sister Roakes birthday. That same night at our dinner appointment was the most embarrassing moment on my mission...perhaps in my life! We were over at the Olsen's house. After everyone had served themselves, I had the pleasure of having the gravy set down beside me. One small move of my elbow flung the spoon in the air along with the gravy flying all over myself and Sister Roake. I don't think I've laughed so hard in my entire life. It was one of those scenes you can picture in slow motion...classic!

This was the funniest day. One Preparation Day in Idaho Falls Sister Roake and I were in our Apt. When our neighbor Chris started talking to us outside through our window. She was pressing her face up against our screen, which was apparentaly dirty. Before we told her she had dirt on her face we took a picture, because it was too funny not to! We laughed and laughed. I don't think Chris thought it was very funny though.
